Einherjar vs. the World

This idea was brought up in the [GS] Forums, having an event where it would be our guild versus the entire game. Maybe there would be a collection of items, perhaps a Time Trial event.

Any suggestions? Comments?

Yes, it does sound interesting.
But collection is kinda boring. I guess if it was
on a limited time, maybe a week or so, then I would root for it.

I wouldn't ask for it to be newb acts, because then all the other guilds could have their high levels solo.

It would probably be in act 19, because I am greedy and I'd like to get some cony while collecting items. Also, I think it's fair to have a week-long collection event in this act, because most other guilds are able to do it, and even though we can do it multiple times faster than they can, the challenge is there. I think it would be fair to all involved.

So we have the collection act down.. act 19.

What should we collect? Should all items be worth the same amount of points towards the event? Since glass beads are more rare, I think they should count for more.

Actually, having JUST glass beads as the target item would be reasonable, because that means the other newb guilds would have to spam act 19. If the item was petals or tentacles (screw you antennas.. you will always be tentacles to me!), then they could do easier acts for those items.

eww don't speak about boxes to me T_T lol I have 4 or 5 honey pots and dress pieces in my boxes but I can't get to them. you know how irritating it was when I had the quest for them and I couldn't get them? they were right there, but I had to look for them again to finish the quests since I couldn't get the ones I already collected. No dress pieces! D<

I can get 4 Honey Pots in about 3 minutes in Episode 2 Act 1. Missing Honey Pots.. fuhgettabottit!

I don't wanna do Love Letters because I want to sell them all because I want more cony. >_>

Any other ideas for another mini-event to this concept? Maybe Time Trials (if you get under a certain time that we set you win? Maybe we need to beat the posted time by 50%?)

I think it a great idea to do that then event for guild . we were be able to get involve and be such fun to have something like this happen.
